Grange Hall Cultural Center

The Center for Community Arts

Located at 317 Howard Avenue, on the Waterbury Center green, the Grange Hall Cultural Center continues the building’s long tradition as a community gathering place, celebrating the talent and gifts of the area, presenting theater, dance, music, film, arts exhibitions, lectures, and arts education, and is home to Across Roads Center for the Arts, Waterbury’s oldest non-profit arts organization.

Originally built as a church in the1850s, and then later in 1929 as the local chapter of the Grange #327, the new Grange Hall Cultural Center is well on its way in an effort to update the facility for its long range sustainability into the 21st century.  The building is available for rent to community members, clubs, businesses, and organizations for their own meetings, classes, celebrations, and events.
